1. Radical Anonymity

Civicamente is designed with a 'Privacy by Design' approach. We believe that epistocratic assessment should be free from personal identification. We do not require, collect, or store your name, email address, IP address, or any other personal identifier that could link your test results to your physical identity.

2. Swiss Legal Compliance

This application is hosted and operated in Switzerland. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (LPD) and, where applicable, the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data Collection & Usage

When you complete an assessment, the following data is stored anonymously:

Geographic location (Country and Region/Canton) as selected or detected.
Psychometric scores (Voting Capacity, Foresight Index, Bias Profiles).
Generic timestamp of the assessment.

This data is used solely for generating global and regional rankings and for statistical research on civic preparation.

4. Cookies & Storage

We use only essential technical storage (Cookies and LocalStorage) required for the application to function. This includes remembering your language preference, your regional selection for test accuracy, and your cookie consent status. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Jurisdiction

Any dispute related to the use of this application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland.

Invitations and shared results

Public links contain a random code and only the data selected for publication. Vudu AI Labs Sagl retains the connection to the author for revocation and invitation attribution. Continuing from an invitation stores its code in sessionStorage for the session, valid for at most 7 days. After verified activity, a Civic ID may be linked to the invitation to count participation and returns. Event totals are recorded by day; these statistics do not store IP addresses, PINs, answers or voting choices. Events and attributions older than 90 days are deleted on the next statistics update. Links remain available until revoked. Counts do not identify unique recipients. No messages are sent to contacts. You can revoke links and request access, correction or deletion through the privacy contact. Third-party downloads and copies cannot be withdrawn automatically.
